The last couple years have been so hectic that I'm way behind on going through photos, so I've been spending some downtime lately editing photos from the past couple years. I just went through our photos from Easter this year. Every year our church has a services on Easter outside at the house of one of the families that attends with us. We have a potluck picnic afterwards and all the kids hunt easter eggs in the afternoon. We decided to grab a few quick photos after church so I handed my camera to a photographer friend to take these. Miles was exhausted and hungry and not really up for it, but I was still hoping maybe we got at least one good family photo.
I've always felt like consistency is key in creating good family photos. If one person is serious, everyone should be serious; if one person is laughing, everyone should laugh. So we took Miles' cue and all just cried.
